CRANSWICK GOURMET PASTRY,  PART OF CRANSWICK PLC, ARE NAMED AS THE WINNER OF THE ‘BEST WASTE PREVENTION PROJECT AWARD (FOOD)’ AT THE WASTE2ZERO AWARDS 2017.

 

We are proud to announce that Cranswick Gourmet Pastry has won an award at the Waste2Zero award ceremony. Responding to demand, the objective of waste2zero – the first awards of its kind in the sector – is to specifically give the out of home industry a platform to showcase best practice and recognise excellence in tackling waste.

Current reigning Celebrity Masterchef champion Angellica Bell presented the awards to all the winners on the night, including Compass Group, Coca-Cola European Partners, Olio Exchange and Toast Ale.

 

THE AWARD ENTRY

The entry followed the concept behind Cranswick Gourmet Pastry’s new campaign, introducing a behaviour change programme and dramatically reducing the business’ resource consumption and waste production, bringing immediate business benefits. Alongside the positive environmental and financial efficiencies, the award also explored how Cranswick Gourmet Pastry have fully embedded the campaign across all key stakeholders to future-proof business growth.
